I think McLaren have 3 to 4 tenths on Ferrari as it stands. Maybe even Red Bull but we have no reference.

That guy has to be wrong, unless people are inventing Lando lap times to add up to 57. I have definitely seen tables with Lando driving a 57 lap race sim.

Yeah it's definitely 57 for both of them, just went and counted. Not sure where people are getting the 52 from. The difference is only in the engine mode at the moment, which I think it could explain up to 0.2s of the gap. Perhaps if we are being too "generous" I would push it to double that, but really, Leclerc doesn't lose time on acceleration, only at the end of the straights when the derating happens. So it's perhaps just an aggressive harvesting mode more so than a limiter on power delivery.

Doubt that. The smoking gun for me is the middle stint where Leclerc was on a C2 and Lando was on a C1, and Lando was still 3 tenths quicker. The C1 is a much slower tyre than the C2 with no significant deg benefit in these cool conditions. For reference, Lando was 1,4s faster when he jumped from C1--->C2 in the final stint. Leclerc was only 0,6s faster when he went from C2--->C1 for his final stint. If we are being generous and giving Leclerc a couple of tenths in engine mode (Norris was definitely in race mode), I'd still put the gap at half a second. With it being closer early and farther late in the race.

Agreed. Not unexpected though. It is what it is. I can’t knock Ferrari for the car though, certainly not conservative in their approach.

Can anyone check the top speed? There is information that Charles had 7 km/h less than Lando and Sky Italia kind of claims that Charles was more loaded with fuel.
