A long time coming then!

I think Lewis knew what was up when they wheeled out the W14

Apparently RB has logged an official complaint so there must be something..Vanja #66 wrote: ↑03 Mar 2025, 15:50They aren't and neither is McLaren at the momentf1Follower wrote: ↑03 Mar 2025, 15:30How is Ferrari employing mini-DRS? We know how MCL did it last year or currently how they are still trying it but I failed to get how Ferrari has employed it as accused by Pierre Wache of RB?

Can you share the link for their official complaint?deadhead wrote: ↑04 Mar 2025, 13:18Apparently RB has logged an official complaint so there must be something..Vanja #66 wrote: ↑03 Mar 2025, 15:50They aren't and neither is McLaren at the momentf1Follower wrote: ↑03 Mar 2025, 15:30How is Ferrari employing mini-DRS? All i could find on it, apparently the FIA shut Red Bull down at Bahrain so now they're lodging an official complaintf1Follower wrote: ↑04 Mar 2025, 14:52Can you share the link for their official complaint?
Will we find updates on the cars as the timeline is less to further improve and we will have first few rounds in Asia?
McLaren , but above all Ferrari , have used this particular technique to obtain important benefits at an aerodynamic level. A move already put into practice during the last racing campaign. This is the theory of Red Bull who, during the pre-season test in Bahrain, stopped by the stewards to express their doubts, strongly pointing the finger. The "revolt" led directly by Pierre Waché , did not bring the hoped-for results in the three days in Bahrain. The FIA stewards , for the moment , have turned Red Bull down .
And it is precisely for this reason that the Austrian team, as our editorial staff learned directly on the field, has prepared an official and accusatory file . It seems that before the start of the championship, the FIA delegates will go to visit the factories in Maranello and Woking to carry out strict checks, which will be followed by official checks at the Australian Grand Prix next Thursday . We know that Ferrari is calm from this point of view, confident of being able to reject the accusations without too many problems.
They can complain about anything and force a deeper investigation if they push it on a political level
You are, they aren’t complaining their test was illegal, they are afraid the illegality will carry on in australia. Of course this is more to have ferrari and mcl waste time to follow up with this nonsense.sypack wrote:Why not complain in Australia? Thought you could do whatever you want during testing so you are not bound to the FIA rules.
No matter what anyone tells you, there's always bias when it comes to favorite teams. Things can go very easily from "unacceptable" when a rival team is doing it to "clever loophole" when your favorite team is doing it. It's hypocritical, but all people are hypocritical to a certain degree when their favorite things are involved.
There were videos of the mini drs. Right now it’s just wache saying it’s there but none of the rear wing videos showing it… that’s not a small difference.organic wrote:Yeah this time it's totally nonsense, but when McLaren were winning ahead of Ferrari due to their mini-DRS it wasn't
I believe the testing claims are about the rear structure squatting backwards but I could be wrong? They want to add new cameras to ensure it can't be done, McLaren/Ferrari don't have to do anything to their cars for this that other teams aren't doing as welldialtone wrote: ↑04 Mar 2025, 18:30There were videos of the mini drs. I’m sorry but if Ferrari has a mini drs I’m not gonna call it loop hole, it’s a bad wing. But where is the video with the wing bending?Emag wrote:No matter what anyone tells you, there's always bias when it comes to favorite teams. In this case though, we don't really have any proof there's anything wrong with either McLaren's nor Ferrari's rear wing from what we were seeing on the onboards, so from that perspective, it looks like nonsense. Let's see if RedBull had any proper basis for these accusations.
