Let's be honest, the writing was on the wall already before last season with the huge controversy. Say what you like about it, but to me, it was evident that the reaction to the issue from all sides were the first cracks to show as a result of disfunction.

For me it's very clear that Max's future is not at Red Bull, being it next year or in 2027. Options are obviously Mercedes and Aston, I'd love to see him in Mercedes but I think it's becoming less likely with Russell performing like this, it depends on how much Toto still wants him.

At this point I think people should stop thinking about Norris, it's Piastri that is looking the real threat.

I mean, realistically I think people should stop thinking about the championship altogether. It's a massive long shot. The Mclaren duo aren't the best, but their car advantage isn't gonna be surmountable over such a long season. They are always the fastest car, all the time, everywhere.

No need to throw the towel. Its a long season, we have seen in season power balance shifts in various ground effect seasons. A mechanical DNF or significant driver error will have a big impact too. Piastri and Norris might develop some beef too. Alot can happen.

Be delusional if you want to. Mclaren have a more dominant car than we've probably seen in many years.

I have pushed for Aston but admittedly that team is a fiasco at the moment... Not so sure anymore.

I would wait for Imola or thereabouts, at least.

The biggest issues I have with Red Bulls ability to turn it all around is they seem to have big correlation issues still. I don't doubt they know where the issues are but last 2 races Max has had to make changes to the setup before quali one worked in Japan last week this one didn't.

If they had a stable but kinda slow base car they understood I might have some confidence but it seems they still aren't aligned.

That may not be 100% the same as CFD and wind tunnel, still its a pretty big concern.

This just isn't the same team as before 2024. Thai side seem willing to allow this to become Horner Racing and will accept any shortfalls that are required for Christian to consolidate power

Max and his world of fans are overreacting.
One bad race and he came 6th? Not exactly a bad result. This should not be an emergency.
If it were Hamilton and his manager getting miserable and throwing a fit, he would be told to shutup and drive the car and apologize to F1 and the FIA.
I think this stroppiness is coming across rather entitled from Max and his fans. The world is not gonna end because a car that won 7 days ago convincingly came 6th this week because the conditions never suited it.
Redbull is the best place for Max to be right now. He has his the team eating out of his hand , a contractural #2 driver and car tailored for him every year. Going to another team without that bubble of dedicated and loyal people will make things worse for him.
The RB21 can be fixed and not everything is the car or team's fault. The driver who can "win with a tractor" couldnt win with one today. So he's also partly responsible for the setup direction that he took and not working the magic like his fans thinks he can.
He's gonna pole in Jeddah with the right setup and all will be right with the world again. RB21 just needs the right build up similar to what they did Suzuka and it's fast again.

I’m only thinking of whether or not 2025 is a lost cause and we need to wait 5 weeks (and maybe even until Spain).

Will Max leave because of 2026 engine? I’m not thinking about that. 2025 should be finished on the best note possible. Whether he leaves or not, 2026 will be a lost year.
