And even if in the correct window at the start of the lap..it needs to stay there for the rest of it. Fred is likely diverting attention to survive a few more weekends before upgrades.
I think this is the most dejected we've seen both drivers so far.
What's the fix?catent wrote: ↑04 May 2025, 00:43I will continue to say it: this performance again suggests they're running the car higher than other teams (and probably losing dozens of points of downforce as a result).
Lack of pace on a wet track? Lack of pace on a green track? Poor traction and pace through low/medium-speed corners? They're running the car higher than they should be.
If that is indeed the case, how they managed to get something so fundamentally wrong from a chassis/suspension/weight distribution perspective in the final year of a regulation set, is hard to fathom.
Autoracer have all but confirmed they are running the car a lot higher than they would like, even Lewis said it, 3mm higher than it should be,which is a lot and Autoracer said that their issue with the rear is aero related, which is better than it being a mechanical issue. i believe in one of Autoracer's streams they said the upgrades at imola aim to correct the weak rear end but im struggling to find it rncatent wrote: ↑04 May 2025, 00:43I will continue to say it: this performance again suggests they're running the car higher than other teams (and probably losing dozens of points of downforce as a result).

the floor upgrade they brought was never meant to solve their rear end issue, it was already in development before they found the issue with the rear. i believe their next set of upgrades at meant to address it (im looking for the autoracer stream)Sevach wrote: ↑04 May 2025, 00:48What's the fix?catent wrote: ↑04 May 2025, 00:43I will continue to say it: this performance again suggests they're running the car higher than other teams (and probably losing dozens of points of downforce as a result).

They brought a modified floor and they still didn't address this.
Autoracer do not think the package will come in Imola. They're expecting Spain or later.Luscion wrote: ↑04 May 2025, 00:53Autoracer have all but confirmed they are running the car a lot higher than they would like, even Lewis said it, 3mm higher than it should be,which is a lot and Autoracer said that their issue with the rear is aero related, which is better than it being a mechanical issue. i believe in one of Autoracer's streams they said the upgrades at imola aim to correct the weak rear end but im struggling to find it rn

That would be pretty shocking. I can't remember the last time Ferrari was that uncompetitive at Monaco. Maybe 2014?Hammerfist wrote: ↑04 May 2025, 01:03Im so not looking forward to Monaco. A race they won last year. But with this car i dont think even leclerc will make top 10.
