I hope the updates do a lot more than just improving this mythical balance, it's time for some performance. If the brake cooling is improved, the race pace should be noticeably better.
If Mclaren have a DAS-like front suspension system then it may just be the difference maker. We'll know after Silverstone if the RB21 is in a better place, but Austria should also be a track where Red Bull needs to improve medium-corner performance. Maybe they need to look at some other solutions up and down the grid that they can add, there are a few I would look at that Mercedes have added after they also got inspiration from others.

To be honest Red Bull don't have to replicate what McLaren is doing.
If they can improve tyre life on their own, it is a win anyway. It doesn't matter how they actually make it work as long as it's improved.

Because of private reasons, Gianpiero Lambiase might not be present at this year's Austrian Grand Prix, GPblog understands.
more soon
.
Erik van Haren:
Lambiase is expected to return to the circuit next week at Silverstone. He will be replaced at the Red Bull Ring by Simon Rennie, an experienced British engineer who worked with Daniel Ricciardo for many years. When the Australian left Red Bull after the 2018 season, Rennie was given a role in the factory in Milton Keynes at his own request.

He is a familiar face to the drivers, and therefore also to Verstappen, as he is the lead engineer of the simulator program. In 2020, he also briefly returned to the circuit to assist Verstappen's then teammate Alex Albon.
