I hope the updates do a lot more than just improving this mythical balance, it's time for some performance. If the brake cooling is improved, the race pace should be noticeably better.
If Mclaren have a DAS-like front suspension system then it may just be the difference maker. We'll know after Silverstone if the RB21 is in a better place, but Austria should also be a track where Red Bull needs to improve medium-corner performance. Maybe they need to look at some other solutions up and down the grid that they can add, there are a few I would look at that Mercedes have added after they also got inspiration from others.

To be honest Red Bull don't have to replicate what McLaren is doing.
If they can improve tyre life on their own, it is a win anyway. It doesn't matter how they actually make it work as long as it's improved.

Because of private reasons, Gianpiero Lambiase might not be present at this year's Austrian Grand Prix, GPblog understands.
more soon
.
Erik van Haren:
Lambiase is expected to return to the circuit next week at Silverstone. He will be replaced at the Red Bull Ring by Simon Rennie, an experienced British engineer who worked with Daniel Ricciardo for many years. When the Australian left Red Bull after the 2018 season, Rennie was given a role in the factory in Milton Keynes at his own request.

He is a familiar face to the drivers, and therefore also to Verstappen, as he is the lead engineer of the simulator program. In 2020, he also briefly returned to the circuit to assist Verstappen's then teammate Alex Albon.

Verstappen drives with a modified floor in Austria, Tsunoda (not yet).

No new floor then, but Red Bull hopes to introduce it next week in Silverstone. #F1
Running a modified floor this week on Max's car, if the translation is correct, he says that a new floor is coming to Silverstone next week.

This is in addition to the modified floor edge they have reported in the FIA documents, don't have to declare the floor since it's an unseen part. I'm guessing it's modification to the diffuser keel, it's an area they have been messing with since last year, with lots of experimentation but they don't seem to have the perfect solution yet.

Marko just said that they changed their brake (disc?) manufacturer, and needed a moment to get dialed in.

In a track with three consecutive straight-line-cooled-then-massive-slamming zones, such a 'change' couldn't come at a worse place.

Plus trail braking is super important as well.

the changed their brake supplier last year in Australia now they are changing again ,i think they should just focus on what they already know, maybe they think they will get same benefits as McLaren if the new brake don't dissipate a lot of heat thereby helping tires.

They are still going to dissipate a lot of heat, ultimately just because you change brake suppliers doesn't mean some "magically" advantage will happen. You still have to develop the cooling regardless of any brakes you use in the car.

small changes make big difference in f1 even 1 degree can make the tire work better

Work better is one thing, being more consistent is another.
