Some radio comms after race sim laps (HAM did 9 laps on softs and then 4 laps on hard tyres and had this comment from Adami, with LEC only 11 laps on M tyres):

Is it possible that every single weekend we go through this in fp1 and fp2? Ferrari runs an extremely low engine mode during Free Practice, has been consistently doing this since Monza ‘22 at minimum.

Can we wait FP3 before we decide we’re all gonna die?

Maybe not but that sure looks like they are heavier.

Doesn't look like fuel load difference = the slope of the straightline acceleration is almost same, plus no clipping. It does look like lack of grip in the corners, however ; especially T6-T7 and T9-T10

That’s not usually the biggest difference in fuel load. Checking a quali sim and race sim from fp2 would give you similar shapes in corners.

Watch a few onboards later but he doesn’t look comfortable to my eyes, especially turn 3, but hopefully they can dial things in for Q3
