Again, not watching but his times look good, and again HAM is right there.
Watch a few onboards later but he doesn’t look comfortable to my eyes, especially turn 3, but hopefully they can dial things in for Q3
Don't know about HAM, but LEC is struggling with braking and turning into T3. I think he is doing 'overlap' b/w steering and brakes, like he has always done in the past in this turn, but this year, doesn't seem to work.

They changed the floor, have to get used to it.

The car seems quite good in the fast corners so if they can fix the break balance or whatever is going on in T1-3 q3 might be a fun one but it’s probably just wishful thinking on my part.

Is it possible that every single weekend we go through this in fp1 and fp2? Ferrari runs an extremely low engine mode during Free Practice, has been consistently doing this since Monza ‘22 at minimum.

Can we wait FP3 before we decide we’re all gonna die?
Engine mode doesn't look all that different to McLaren but maybe I'm not reading it correctly

Maybe not but that sure looks like they are heavier.

Maybe Fred thinks that the public can’t see this telemetry otherwise his engine mode comment is once again rather insulting

It’s rare to see LEC struggling so much especially on a track he enjoys
It's not one of his best tracks.
I also feel like he usually does well in Austria. Maybe it was just 2019 that sticks with me.

Unfortunate last attempt from LEC and HAM, otherwise both would have been at least 0.2s ahead but not much changed. Good job both either way and good job Ferrari for the new floor clearly works on a track where they would have been nowhere with the old floor.

Good job to this forum for once again over reacting after FP2 as if the quali was decided already, at least now we're misreading telemetry :).

Let me also give a huge congratulations to F1.com for once again predicting the outcome of a qualification for a different race.

At least we're not the only ones misreading telemetry.

Ham was right there with leclerc until the last corner and finished less than a tenth away from him, saying it was a bleh lap sure is something lol
