Are they playing this stupid game again where if the clock starts no ticket refunds can happen?

What baffles me is how the fans sit there and lap this stuff up playing stupid games.

Completely and utterly taken advantage of.

Awesome contribution keyboard warrior
Max said it was fine other drivers too. Drivers have driven worse red flagged when it’s not raining is stupid
But its about to rain heavy. Supposedly. Its pointless running then stopping. If you can just run straight through later
running is not pointless even for 3 or 5 laps of racing, waiting cowardly is and we saw why in 2021.

If they started the race for 15minutes or so, then 3 hour clock starts. If the heavy shower comes in, its red flagged with the clock ticking down.

As of now, the clock hasn't started and they can let the worse pass.

the final showers are passing through now, and then we should be good to start and get the full race in. Imo this decision was the right one

Why are the commentators afraid to speak their minds? Martin Brundle is the only one who even comes close to calling out the ridiculous nature of what's going on. Visibility is always poor in the wet but we still go racing? Seriously, what is going on with the sport?
because its all about serving the interests of big corporations running the show.
it would be super easy to blame the FIA but they only do what the shareholders, F1 teams including want them to do.

Would you rather 4 laps at best ( there will be a crash) with the clocking ticking down, or the chance to get more running in without the clock ticking down?

Money. Very few people will speak out against the money

This is just how most people are now in life. Always just playing any words safe and agreeing with management. Its how they increase their chances of keeping a job for longer.

I can see why the FIA are getting rid of the ground effect completely for next year.

I already wrote how it should be done on all occasions. Start behind the safety not guessing and not having any expectations, leave it for as many laps as needed before it becomes better, then rolling start.

exactly, this is how people are like now, sceaming their opinions on internet like it has any weight,
it's fine just let it out and wait for the race to start, or not
