Note that I point out PIA was slower not to claim Ferrari was better, but to show he saved his tires more since his car should be 0.2-0.3s faster, so if he’s lapping slower he’s saving more of the tire.

This video is post qualifying. LeClerc 100% changed his car between the sprint race and qualifying. Loads of technical anaylsis showing the different performance between sprint qualifying and qualifying.if I remember tomorrow I’ll post one.

Maybe they are talking about larger changes I dunno but there was a quote from Charles yesterday saying they should not read into the 7tenth to 3 tenth drop between q and sq
These are two different things, to optimize an existing setting to improve the pace, and to change it for wet conditions, sacrificing something, and so all 3 pilots said that they did not change anything specifically for wet.

According to AR and confirmed by Vasseur post race, no more upgrades are in development for the SF-25.

Anything else they "bring" will be circuit specific or minor changes that don't require development time.

AR reiterates for a third time there was a floor planned and already in progress for Baku that has been canceled, they'll explain the reasons why once they have full confirmation.

According to Lewis the reason he had to lico for so much of the race is because Ferrari underfueled his car for the bigger wing they put on. At least it wasn't for brakes or plank wear this time

I don't think anything was reported on that being a thing for Hungary, I know there were reports they were supposed to have a new floor but that got cancelled for some reason

Just speculation on my part, but the Austria floor was talked about as "slightly more conservative", that expands the car window.
Not the first time we hear that the last few years, is it?
The car has improved with this conservative floor, became more docile, consistent... better to drive and keep in the window.
And it doesn't seem to have dropped much peak if any.

As it's typical Ferrari was probably attempting a "aggressive" floor that gives a bit more downforce, while keeping the window "wide enough".
I guess the performance gain from these "shave a bit here" was deemed too small for the current situation, with potential of slight backfire from the "aggressive" floor.

Anyone confirm who this is Lewis’s new performance engineer? He mentioned he worked with him before but his old mercedes performance engineer is still with Mercedes with Bono. He started his first race here, so must of been a sudden change i would of thought? i mean who was Lewi's Ferrari Performance engineer before???

Lewis Hamilton has a new Performance Engineer at Ferrari, Luca Diella, who joined Ferrari this year after 5 years at Mercedes HPP.

Diella is replacing Riccardo Corte and will work alongside Hamilton’s race engineer Riccardo Adami.

They expected more rain then. If they had those extra four laps behind the safety car a podium might have been on the cards maybe?
