These are two different things, to optimize an existing setting to improve the pace, and to change it for wet conditions, sacrificing something, and so all 3 pilots said that they did not change anything specifically for wet.Space-heat wrote: ↑28 Jul 2025, 00:51This video is post qualifying. LeClerc 100% changed his car between the sprint race and qualifying. Loads of technical anaylsis showing the different performance between sprint qualifying and qualifying.if I remember tomorrow I’ll post one.
Maybe they are talking about larger changes I dunno but there was a quote from Charles yesterday saying they should not read into the 7tenth to 3 tenth drop between q and sq
I don't think anything was reported on that being a thing for Hungary, I know there were reports they were supposed to have a new floor but that got cancelled for some reason
Just speculation on my part, but the Austria floor was talked about as "slightly more conservative", that expands the car window.ScuderiaLeo wrote: ↑28 Jul 2025, 10:08According to AR and confirmed by Vasseur post race, no more upgrades are in development for the SF-25.
Anything else they "bring" will be circuit specific or minor changes that don't require development time.
AR reiterates for a third time there was a floor planned and already in progress for Baku that has been canceled, they'll explain the reasons why once they have full confirmation.

They expected more rain then. If they had those extra four laps behind the safety car a podium might have been on the cards maybe?
