he had no choise either get promoted or he is out of f1 he is being compared to max so he need to grow and develop as a driver. i think he did a good race and he probably score points if thing go well if they were patient with-strategy he would have scored some really good points
lawson beat Max in Hungary on merit and Hadjar was just a few secound behind Max , i think redbull have a problem.Tim Goss work for Rb he designed some of championship winning Mclarens.venkyhere wrote: ↑31 Aug 2025, 17:36without Hadjar as a buffer, even P3 was not possible. This is a lucky P2, thanks to mishaps suffered by Norris & LeClerc. Race pace was nowhere. Even with softer compound, restarts were terrible. Shows that even if the RB21 is an improvement on the RB20, it's 1s per lap slower than the McL39 in race trim. It wouldn't have mattered even if Max had jumped both McLarens at the start. The driver and pitwall tried, but to no avail. The way Tsunoda's strategy was executed - atrocious.
''there is no reason to expect Hadjar would do significantly better than Lawson or Tsunoda either'' Did you think for a moment that maybe is not the drivers so just throwing another driver in the loop will not make any different.Russell the alleged superstar should position himself to replace fernando at aston in case he retires at some pointJordanMugen wrote: ↑31 Aug 2025, 18:43With Mercedes (apparently) dithering on offering George Russell a long-term deal, should Red Bull Racing-Ford offer Russell a 3-4 year deal at 40-60m EUR per season?
I think so. Red Bull should pounce on the British superstar IMO!
Verstappen-Russell in 2026 would be quite the line-up IMO. That should (in theory) solve the problem of a low points tally being scored by the second Red Bull car.
Whether it would cause friction with Verstappen and exacerbate Verstappen's desire to leave? Maybe, but Red Bull Racing shouldn't too dependent on Verstappen, as much as Verstappen has done great things for Red Bull Racing and vice versa.
The Antonelli experiment (while leagues superior to Tsunoda!) is increasingly showing that a direct Linblad promotion may not be the wisest choice, while there is no reason to expect Hadjar would do significantly better than Lawson or Tsunoda either.
I suppose Red Bull could wait for Russell to become available in 2027, but this seems disrespectful to a driver of Russell's talent and doesn't solve the issue in the short-term for 2026.
Leclerc fans are also noting Leclerc's continued displeasure with Ferrari, so Charles Leclerc could be another target for Red Bull Racing-Ford too. Both Russell and Leclerc are excellent drivers IMO!
Aston are aiming for Verstappen too.
:raises eyebrow: Surely there is merit to the notion that Russell and Leclerc are much better drivers than Tsunoda or Lawson, and due to their superior ability and understanding of F1 they would have less troubles understanding a difficult car.''there is no reason to expect Hadjar would do significantly better than Lawson or Tsunoda either'' Did you think for a moment that maybe is not the drivers so just throwing another driver in the loop will not make any different.
