Living in Italy, I know very well this type of dynamics, the point is not if the spreaded info is true or not, the point is that it's being reported, and since this info is 99% fed by Ferrari themselves to the press, it means that a huge shitstorm is going on behind the scenes at Maranello. We've already seen this many times, with Raikkonen 16 years ago, with Alonso, finally with Vettel.ScuderiaLeo wrote: ↑07 Oct 2025, 16:31There's some Italian media outlets reporting that people in Maranello aren't happy with Leclerc because he's been more vocal about the car being bad recently.
Now these articles are more than likely BS and none of these outlets have real connections with Ferrari (at least not with the engineering team) the only way this could be real is if Ferrari planted it themselves, not out of the question but we have no way of knowing. Either way what worries me is that these kinds of sentiments also happened when rumors of Vettel leaving started in 2019. Articles about his faith in the team wavering, pointing out his changing demeanor in interviews, discourse from the media about how some parts of the team dislike him, hell, even the interviews from people around them add to the fire (Leclerc's manager said last week that "all drivers need to be open to changes") Exactly the same "beginning of the end" vibes of their relationship with Ferrari breaking down.
I know people here want Leclerc to leave the team and I understand that for his own sake. But as a Ferrari fan I'd much rather he stay. It just unfortunately seems like all the signs are pointing to him leaving in 2027, and every week I grow more confident about this.
If I was a Ferrari fan I would be quite worried because when this kind of things start coming out, it doesn't bode well. Another problem is that we're not at season finale, still a quarter of a season is to be run, honestly I don't know how they will be able to afford this shitstorm for 2 more months.
