Well this comes from an engineer that last worked for Ferrari in 2009. So all this is just big if true...
Just a guess, but perhaps it means they can run slightly more wing?
Toto wants Max, and without Max, why would they need Charles? Just like any other team, if they build a car that's head and shoulders above their rivals. They might have worse drivers (unlikely significantly worse), but they'll likely be much cheaper than Charles.
If that guy really said that, I would take out his degree, and if I were Ferrari I would eliminate any record of his employment there out of shame. There have to be limits to nonsense in technical topics.dans79 wrote:
A very very very simple way of thinking about is to look at the volume of air available to the teams. At a given speed a car will see a given volume of air, and the teams have to do numerous things with that flow.
Surprised no one has linked it to Hamilton being unhappy or somethingScuderiaLeo wrote: ↑09 Oct 2025, 19:07
Ferrari lost -15% this week, almost 12 billion Euros, putting their share back to what it was in January 2024.
That's a VERY volatile sector for anyone involved in it. Seriously doubt the F1 team would impact sentiment there. People are scared of loosing their shirt not their pride in F1 championship.ScuderiaLeo wrote: ↑09 Oct 2025, 21:50Seems like it's because investors weren't happy with their developments in EV. It's a pretty big loss, we'll have to see if it impacts the F1 team..
look like that Ferrari still are top 5 auto brand in the world by capitalizationScuderiaLeo wrote: ↑09 Oct 2025, 19:07Ferrari lost -15% this week, almost 12 billion Euros, putting their share back to what it was in January 2024.
It sucks! But I wonder if they know what ride-height McLaren and RedBull are running are are having technical problems replicating it?
Nah this was a red herring. it wasn't that. that's a reddit tin-foil. Stock price fell because lower than expected profits, and a tempered outlook for new supercar sales.ScuderiaLeo wrote: ↑09 Oct 2025, 21:50Seems like it's because investors weren't happy with their developments in EV.
