In this interview, Mika said that Senna braked with his right foot. Did Senna always brake with his right foot?
Is that what people mean when they talk about "heel and toe"?bluechris wrote: ↑30 Oct 2025, 21:00Ayrton not only used the right foot for normal braking but he blipped both gas and brake to control the rear of the car in corner entry. I don't know if he did it Always as you ask though.
I think only Max & Leclerc do that where for Leclerc im certain that he does the blipping even though i don't know if he does it like Senna.
Either way see here an example of Senna doing exactly that with a road car in an exhibition run. Unfortunately there is no video of him doing it in an F1 car but it's a common knowledge.
Yes and basically it's a rally thing mainly but some masters use it in F1 also.WardenOfTheNorth wrote: ↑30 Oct 2025, 22:13Is that what people mean when they talk about "heel and toe"?bluechris wrote: ↑30 Oct 2025, 21:00Ayrton not only used the right foot for normal braking but he blipped both gas and brake to control the rear of the car in corner entry.
