It was just bad luck from Piastri there. Antonelli said that Norris did sent water into the track by hitting a kerb but that was clear bad luck to Piastri. It can happen to anyone. The title has a long way to go.
All 3 cars that used the kerb went off. Nothing to do with norris so not sure what kimi os talking about. Just poor driving/car placement

Can McLaren please stop sabotaging Oscar. I mean it's so obvious, they told Norris to hit the kerb and put the water in the racing line to take out Oscar. Shameless these people ...

(obvious sarcasm before the pitchforks start rising)
Writing this post crossed my mind

You could compromise the rest of the weekend if someone puts fresh tires for the second part of this sprint though. Let's see what happens.

I don't agree. I think they were just unlucky. In any case the title is not over yet and it would be foolish to make Norris champion and forget the other two prematurely.

Is it worth putting new softs on or not? Im unsure if we have enough to last and then re-use these mediums in the main race tomorrow.

I wouldn't do it honestly. Even if he loses P1, that's just 1 point lost anyway. Better to not compromise the rest of the weekend for half a sprint.

You can see from the footage how Antonelli stays off the kerb. The only people that crashed were people that went on the kerb. It's purely an issue of driving skill.

Those who were pushing hard crashed.

Piastri needs to let it come to him, overdriving leads to mistakes. He did the same in Baku.

The title battle isn't over yet and it would be foolish to think so. In any case Piastri did well so far and he has years ahead of him to get a title as he is expected to improve with experience. Don't forget he is in his third year and his experience is miniscule.

Just hoping norris hangs into p1 off the line a second time and can bring it home for some vital points in the WDC

Rolling start and change of tyres. Kimi switched to mediums along with others.

Should have kept mediums!

Is that soft a good idea? Can he keep them alive for 14 laps?

Should manage just fine with less fuel, cooler temps and management.

No mistakes. Norris needs to bag these points whilst max is struggling and Oscar is out.
