Blocked the DRS until Norris got 1 second. Then rolling restart.

Atleast the MCL pace doesn't look alien, there's some hope for the race if they sort the car out.

Need to find 2-3 tenth, then he's in.
Don't know if that's possible

Pretty sure softs are the wrong tire for these conditions at the moment. They messed up thinking it would be a standing start.

At least Mclaren will have a bit less data to rely on because of Piastri.

McLaren have Norris' data. They will be fine. The gap to Russell has remained 2s. Not sure what to make of it. Need to qualify in front of Mercedes to fight for a podium.

Eh, nothing to indicate that, other soft runners seem to running just fine, Max was doing fine in the 1st stint. Lando on the mediums didn't show superior pace either.

Mclaren is not fast. It's Red Bull that's slow.

All soft runners are doing badly, what do you mean? Max also wasn't doing fine in the 1st stint. He didn't like how the car was feeling in the first stint at all. Lando's pace wasn't crazy with the mediums I agree, but if he continued with those he wouldn't have been so uncomfortable with low rear grip right now.

They need to be in front of the Mercedes cars in qualifying.

Everything will be reset come quali, so I would suggest don't waste time overanalysing paces in the sprint. It's pointless.

The warm up on mediums looked horrible.
I smell there is a good chance but they need to find at least two tenth in S2

Yeah it's quite a bit cooler than yesterday so everyone has to adapt. This will probably play into Mercedes' strength though, seems like tomorrow will also be quite cool.
