Lando though, has finally grasped what he needs to do for that championship success as he's travelled through this year.

Had speed before, but not the all consuming application to leverage, develop and extend that skills range into more formidable competitor. There's fundamental change in his aim, focus and determination that I believe we can see happening right now.
He looks mentally much stronger, but let us see, it is now two really well executed weekends in a row, something he also did in the past. Let us see if he manages 3 or 4 in a row. This current development reminds strongly of Vettel in 2010, he similarly had his day off from race to race in this season. And I think this is the benchmark, in 2011 Vettel showed his nearly perfect season.

Give me a second for a multi answer.

F1isgood. Its not a bait. It is what happened.

Scott. Its true that I dislike his attitude and way of driving but I will agree he is one of the best though I have other drivers in front of him in the pecking order.

Farn. I agree that at the moment Max's years of experience fighting at the front and fighting for titles helped him build a lead over the other drivers but I dont believe Norris or Oscar is that far. I expect Lando to improve after he successfully becomes champion and as a champion is called for his first title defence.
Absolutely no. He's changed and particularly this year. The realisation of what he's got to do is here and now, the penny has dropped. He's not making excuses, not answering stupid questions delivered by journalists or otherwise.

Hes got it, and likey the championship too. Not waiting for anything in reality.

Lando was building up in a similar manner to how Max was building up to his eventual first title. 2021 and 2022 in particular were very impressive for the quality in machinery he had in his hands.

The difference between them is that Max actually stepped up in 2021 and did everything he could to win that title, even when Mercedes moved clear of RedBull as a car. Lando was lost for a long time this season. Seems he has picked himself up again since Zandvoort, but the job is not done yet. He needs to keep it up and finish it.
