Why did Mekies not just say the usual thing, we changed the engine because we’d seen something of concern in the data?

Anyway, great performance by Norris =D>
He will next time. Lesson learned.

Bit FIA will let it slide. Maybe there would be a bigger problem if Verstappen won the WDC but this seems unlikely.
Is just the usual, preparing, for the extremely unlikely event Max somehow manages to win the title. So that they can discredit it. As they always do. Narrative narrative narrative, reality doesn’t count these days. Just steal the narrative by pushing hard, and pushing first. The rest is on the defence. It makes me sick.

Max, RBR, simply had a bad qualy, then you can take an engine. They were not so sure if they wouldn’t need to. Now they won’t have to anymore.

Max will win the championship. Because he's the only one who deserves it.

Yeah right, guess it was Adami who coudnt get the tires to heat up and then drove over a bollard while not paying attention.

On the plus side, anything can happen in the race. Safety cars are likely and starting from the pit lane can give him an edge for a good comeback as Verstappen recently demonstrated.

Key pit stop exit battle for the lead of the race, 25 or so laps in the making, so Formula 1 feed just cuts to some random midfield battle.

Honestly, I’m done with this kinda stuff.

Antonelli is now the fastest car on track, with 40 lap old hards.

With no graining anymore, this race lost quite a bit of its flavor, to be honest.

I liked their strategy today, try and gain places off the start with the soft tyre and box if an early VSC or SC comes out, if not then box early into clean air and use the pace, now imagine if it were a SC that came out instead of a VSC where he wouldve finished :o

yeah, I actually thought the plan was a H-H from there, but good job to make it work on what was basically a 0 stop race. And he still managed to pull away from LEC in the end to keep 5th.

Cars usually qualify roughly in order of pace. What are people expecting?

Max's S1 and S2 were spectacular in race trim, considering how 7-8-9 was the Achilles heel in all three practice sessions. Redbull for once, setup the car really well. And M tyre didn't fall off, despite the tyre burning hot pirsuit by Osama in the first stint. Half the race distance, on higher fuel load, on the M tyre. Probably Pirelli should set up the minimum pressures to 'exploding' levels for the Qatar GP
