If Yuki was actually quick, many issues would not have been. It's also due to the setup hand holding and not being able to share any data with Max, unlike at Mclaren. Red Bull is not a midfield team (yet ) and the strategist as we know them succeed when fighting for top 5 positions, not P12 or P14 on a regular basis. Perhaps they are more exposed there, but that is not Red Bull's normal place. It's not to say they cannot improve, but they shouldn't be developing tools and strategy to run with other midfielders. As we know with Alonso and AMR, it's very difficult and requires a lot of luck when you are racing there.

I am almost sure that Hadjar in a Redbull, in 2026, where a 'new way to drive' has to be found, is going to be an emotional wreck ; since most probably he is going to find out that the PU is not going to be close enough to the Merc/Ferrari one (atleast for the first half of the year). I haven't seen a driver who is more emotional in the cockpit (not even early days Tsunoda). Hope he learns to be patient.

I think Marko is delusional but I'm not taking his opinions on this engine project seriously. He wanted Porsche afterall and that was said to be one of the reasons for this whole internal fight.

Remember that Marko is the optimist on the team...

They're probably assuming that the engine will not be competitive enough to win early, but I doubt they know for sure the relative performance between teams. As for the second half of the season it's possible they can qualify for "ADUO" (Additional Development and Upgrade Opportunities) which basically allows you to upgrade the engine in season to get closer. This is available to engines which are determined to be more than 2% behind the class leader in power. Otherwise you can only upgrade between seasons if you are within 2%.
