Amen to that, we just need a clean start and a clean first few laps, then control the race from there..... Priority No1 should be to kick VER out of the competition, we cannot allow the risk to win or lose all in AbuDabiFittingMechanics wrote: ↑29 Nov 2025, 21:11Great result for both drivers. Good job.
Such a shame Russell couldn't pip Verstappen to P3 so he doesn't start alongside our guys, but that's life. Let's beat him tomorrow and take this title to McLaren.
Norris is the only one that can crash or have a DNF.
Piastri never went, he just doesn't like certain tracks. But, he flaming well loves Qatar.venkyhere wrote: ↑29 Nov 2025, 21:39Piastri is back !!!
unfortunately , too late.
Norris just needs to 'not lose position' at the start and bring the car home in P2 tomorrow. Then in AbuDhabi he just needs to finish P4. With that car, he can sleepwalk to P4 in AbuDhabi.
Congrats to LandoNorris, world champion of 2025![]()

His pace is track specific, 3rd season in a row,but I dont care, as long as someone from Mclaren is champ, I really do not have preference, I just want to see Mclaren driver on top after 17 years since Hamilton in 2008.venkyhere wrote: ↑29 Nov 2025, 21:39Piastri is back !!!

Mathematically yes, but not in terms of risk reward. If Lando crashes he goes from being the massive favourite to being in a dead heat with one of Oscar and Max going into AD. That would be disastrous considering he doesn't even need to beat either of them to retain the big favourite status going into AD, finishing P3 would be more than enough. For Oscar and Max they are very unlikely to win the title as things stand, and they need to beat Lando to have any chance, so they will be willing to take risks. Finishing behind Lando is useless for them. Traditionally in a 1 v 1 title fight Lando could crash with his challenger and benefit, but not when he has two drivers chasing him.Jambier wrote: ↑29 Nov 2025, 21:32Norris is the only one that can crash or have a DNF.
He has got a joker here. But on this track I don’t expect that kind of thing to happen so I think we will have a boring race with the same classification than qualy.
And then NOR champion in the last race
He will try to do something bad 100%.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑29 Nov 2025, 21:29Crash is the only thing Max can't also do. Crashing with either of them will get him out of the title.
Then he's going to crash himself out as he is from the outside. But in all seriousness. If both Mclaren boys do a good start there is no way Max is passing either of them and then all they can do is play the DRS game to help themselves away from Max.Avocado wrote: ↑29 Nov 2025, 22:49He will try to do something bad 100%.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑29 Nov 2025, 21:29Crash is the only thing Max can't also do. If PIA goes to the right to cover NOR on the start he is risking to allow VER to overtook them both with a late braking maneuver from the outside into turn 1, he safest way is to repeat what he did today on the sprint every other scenario puts him in a worse position to VER than to NOR.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑29 Nov 2025, 23:32Then he's going to crash himself out as he is from the outside.
