Who are 'they' ?
Anyway, I am not 'they', I am speaking after actual observation of the body language of the car, onboards etc over the past few years. Hamilton is not driving to the limits of grip that he was so effectively doing in the flat floor era. He may have won races, finished on the podium etc in 2022,23&24 ; but in none of them was he driving 'to the limit', it was either because the Mercedes was the fastest (conditions/setup wise) car on the day, and driving up to 98%(say) of the limit was enough, or because competitors who had a good car made mistakes or both. If he was able to 'properly adapt' he would have actually won far more races with Mercedes itself.
Strange thing to say that he wasn't driving on the limit when he had dangerous rivals in equal cars. Nico 2014 to 2016, Vettel 2017, 2018, Verstappen 2021. In these years Lewis and the rival tore away from the rest of the field. If that's not driving on the limit, I'm not sure what is.
Please read again. I was talking about ground effect era.

If the guy says he doesn't like thos generation of car, why don't you believe him? Who else should be believed?!
LOL back.
I only said his default driving technique (combined entry with hard/late braking) was deficient to driving GE cars. Which part of my post said that I reject Hamilton's claim that he doesn't like GE cars ? Please point it to me. I fully believe him, btw.
