Horrid 3rd sector…was looking ok outside of that.

Ultimately, it’s whatever.

Lol...and people think Hamilton is some sort of goat. Never seen Max or Charles get knocked out like this...loser, has been and an embarrassing addition to a ferrari team being carried by Charles Leclerc. Ferrari should swap salaries with Hamilton and Charles. And pay Hamilton a cleaners salary. Loser.

Ferrari should give this guy 3 races to win something. If he doesn't it must be bye bye...Good riddance to bad rubbish IMHO. He has been a blight on this team. Whinging, moaning and blaming the team isn't helping anyone. Has been...more like a never was.

Great job from Leclerc to get to Q3 again. He said he almost aborted his lap after S1

If I can find the onboard I'll share. It was quite slippery to say the least, I also thought he would abort

Also I believe this makes 23/24 Q3 appearances for him this year. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong

Hamilton's car developing skills showing again. Lovely!

The new steering wheel has the same DNA as the ones he developed at McLaren brought to Mercedes and now to Ferrari. Very good. It shows the team is listening. Should make a minor difference to the driver. I wonder if Leclerc would like a spin on it. Lets see for 2026.

Clear it's an interpretation of his Mercedes wheel. Sucks to end this crap year out in Q1 but I'm very excited for 2026.

Hamilton seems rather despondent in his interviews. He said he "just lost it in the last sector, I'm sorry to the team" and "I don't know how to describe what's going on in my head, I'm angry [at myself] and there's not much else to add"

And there really isn't much to add, so I hope we don't get 10 pages of the same argument over and over here...

Would love to see a video of the final lap again if anyone sees it reposted on X. You could really feel how nervous he was

Leclerc said they completely changed the car from FP2, nothing stayed the same over night and the changes they made were beneficial. Though they also made the car a bit harder to drive, the trade is worth it. He's really happy with his Q3 laps, he thought he might crash at some points but he doesn't think he left any tenths realistically on the table

Oh and this..

That smile says it all. Good to see that he is 'in the mix' for tomorrow, with more fuel and race-level battery deployment, the car wont be put to the same level of torture in R as it is in Q. There are only two on the grid who can keep a wild bronco of a car within the lines, and LeClerc is one of them. I hope this statement from him about 'not getting involved' doesn't negate my prediction for tomorrow :

I also think LeClerc is going to be the dark horse this weekend, and will play a decisive role in the WDC title.
And this prediction almost came true, fell short by 8 milliseconds :

Will Hamilton get out of Q1 this weekend ? I think he would, will get to Q3, and qualify P7/P8.
Reason - car will work better on a mixed corner track with an S2 made up of only straights (and a chicace) , with lower tyre pressures, and with three FP sessions.

Leclerc is always extremely aggressive at starts but I don't think the car has pace to fight the top 3. Unless Verstappen backs up the pack on purpose, but even then it would be difficult. I haven't seen the Quali data but their top speed has been lower than the rest all weekend too

He's very impressive in how snatches the car back into his control when you swear it's gonna crash.
