I can only imagine the third team being Audi. Hulkenberg might retire soon, Leclerc would be an excellent choice to lead a long-term project for the team, and they have the money to hire him. It would be funny to see Leclerc working with Mattia Binotto again.ScuderiaLeo wrote: ↑10 Dec 2025, 17:35According to Autoracer, 3 teams actively want Leclerc for a potential move. (That they know of) One is AM which is public knowledge, Duchessa hinted another is RBR, not sure what the third might be
Edit: Want to be clear about the Hamilton part of this article because it's being spread on X. The reason why Leclerc has "options" but Hamilton doesn't is because Hamilton doesn't have an exit clause like Leclerc does.
Cadillac is very unlikely, as a new team shouldn't be able to afford to pay a high salary to a A-tier driver in his first years. Regarding Mercedes and McLaren, I think it's very difficult for Mercedes to get rid of Russell, and even less so Antonelli, in the near future. McLaren only if Piastri gets tired of the team and decides to leave. Williams, Haas, and Alpine are out of the question.
