It was 4 degrees Celcius this morning! It was -2°C last night!

Alpine 2021 had something similar, maybe even more volume in the centreline with a vertically stacked dual intake.bananapeel23 wrote: ↑22 Jan 2026, 13:40That airbox is BONKERS. That's a ridiculous amount of centreline cooling. I've never seen anything like it. I can't recall an airbox nearly as insane looking as this since the 1970s.

That 2021 Alpine airbox is massive, but compare it to the helmet of the driver. It's nowhere near as large. It might not even have half of the centerline cooling capacity.Badger wrote: ↑22 Jan 2026, 13:50Alpine 2021 had something similar, maybe even more volume in the centreline with a vertically stacked dual intake.bananapeel23 wrote: ↑22 Jan 2026, 13:40That airbox is BONKERS. The dual inlet area may be slightly smaller in total but the volume of the "neck" is bigger on the Alpine. Either VCARB has smaller radiators or some of that air is being channeled deeper into the car.bananapeel23 wrote: ↑22 Jan 2026, 13:56That 2021 Alpine airbox is massive, but compare it to the helmet of the driver.
