0 teams with Honda engines have run during testing.
It also says Mercedes has 3 teams, even though 4 teams run the Mercedes engines, but Williams hasn't run yet either

I think this test isn't that useful for anything other than systems checks and some basic aero correlation studies. It's too cold. The track temp was 2C in the morning so teams are not going to learn much about tire degradation. They will only know about the tire management and even the cooling systems in Bahrain when it's warmer.

Really impressive all round. After the afternoon running, even Audi has done better than I'd expected given the bar set by the last engine formula change. Big self own by F1 to close this test to media and fans.

Yes.
I think this is a fabulous test. A lot of laps, much better weather than anticipated and the laptimes are really fast.

All in all: I hope the Merc is not that dominant, but overall this looks like a good season to come.

Is there any information about how much power the engine generates in current racing cars? I am not talking about the combustion engine, but about the entire drive unit.

No specific numbers are known and I doubt any of the manufacturers will ever provide that.
However, in the presentations for these regulations it's stated that the whole power unit should have 1000+ HP.

Actually you are anyway talking about the combustion engine since che MGU-K power is prescribed and fixed for all at 350KW so total maxpower=ICEpower+350kw

Amazing, amazing reliability so far considering the massive changes. That's what matters now. Laps. Laps. Laps. Keep it up. Very impressive from all manufacturers. =D>

Interesting how every driver talks about how incredibly different the cars are. Not surprising, but really emphasizes adaptability this year. Which drivers will be able to completely adapt their style to the cars strengths? The better the adaptation skills, the better the lap times will be. Sensitivity to torque and feeling the rear tires on the road will be a premium blend.

In a way, I'm sort of disappointed by the apparent reliability of these engines already. Wasn't expecting 2014 levels but hoped engine reliability issues would become a bigger factor in races again. Then you see the likes of Mercedes still capable of bashing out several hundred laps with ease... even the likes of Audi doesn't seem too bad so far, all things considered.

Honda and Audi are your only hope.

Mercedes, Ferrari and RBPT seem to be bulletproof already.

Agreed, i mis the days where you were "scared" that whilst your favorite is in the lead the engine could blow up. Now it's just plain boring once a driver is in the lead.
