Yes it does. Ferrari seem quite happy with it as well, they seem quietly confident.SiLo wrote: ↑13 Feb 2026, 11:44The Ferrari, like the Mercedes, looks somewhat basic but a really good foundation to modify and build from. I like this approach as it doesn't really tie them into a specific aero architecture, and gives them options to change in future if a specific design becomes meta.
Its the start of a new reg set as well. Unless you find a silver bullet which is harder and harder to do aero wise, you might as well give yourself options to be flexible.Martin Keene wrote: ↑13 Feb 2026, 11:45Yes it does. I don't think the Ferrari is basic at all. There's a lot of detail in many areas. The floor is the most important piece anyway.SiLo wrote: ↑13 Feb 2026, 11:44The Ferrari, like the Mercedes, looks somewhat basic but a really good foundation to modify and build from. I think this picture helps to better understand/interpret the Ferrari sidepods. Ferrari has minimal centerline cooling and more sidepod radiators. That is why the sidepods are wider. You can't just look at their car and say the sidepods are too wide without understanding the full picture.Ufi wrote: ↑13 Feb 2026, 12:11@AlbertFabregaDetail of the left side of the Ferrari without the sidepod.

Interesting finer details and some clever grey area ideas. Am I right in thinking that the 17 to 21 high rake cars eventually had no diffuser sidewalls either?Ufi wrote: ↑13 Feb 2026, 13:39from @ScarbsTech

I find these details quite innovative, but I am confused why are they showing all these so early on...Ufi wrote: ↑13 Feb 2026, 13:39from @ScarbsTech
