Hope they do race runs in the first 2 hours of the final session and then do performance runsSoulPancake13 wrote: ↑20 Feb 2026, 12:27Amazing race sim from LEC. Basically matched Piastri's overall race time in much worse track condition.

The only reason I think they dont have a massive advantage PU wise is because Ferrari seem relatively confident. I would be amazed if they still dont know the real difference.
You think so on the confidence? I haven't felt that reading what the drivers and Vasseur have to say, it's been 99% "we focus on ourselves, we don't know or care what anyone else is doing". They haven't even spoken on their targets for the season meanwhile Russell is already talking about wins. Not saying season will be a disaster or anything like that, but to me the confidence is coming from Mercedes and especially RussellSphere3758 wrote: ↑20 Feb 2026, 13:17The only reason I think they dont have a massive advantage PU wise is because Ferrari seem relatively confident. last season they talked about championship aim and ended in p4 in wcc so they don't bother promising anything other than yes we will keep our mind open with devlopment etc etc... i see that as good thing.. forget promising the fans just focus and build step by step..wowgr8 wrote: ↑20 Feb 2026, 16:24You think so on the confidence? This car clearly resembles Loic Serra.Xyz22 wrote: ↑20 Feb 2026, 16:38I’ve been very negative about Ferrari because last season has been embarrassing to say the least. Honestly i didn’t have any faith on this technical team to deliver.
At the same time it’s clear that testing has been super positive. The car seems to be quite good aero wise, which is a nice surprise (at least for me).
Hmm I wonder if a 1:29 is on the cards for the GP.
my logic is quite simple: If the Mercedes PU advantage is massive, lets say 0.5s or more, almost every Merc team will be fighting Ferrari every race. And this is not even including Redbull. That would be a pretty poor position for Ferrari to be in, arguably worse than last year. I dont see why the team would be smiling with that knowledge.wowgr8 wrote: ↑20 Feb 2026, 16:24You think so on the confidence?
