Man why does Merc suck so much in hot weather
There are more points to be had at cooler tracks that's why.

Kimi didn't even try in this lap
Sounds more guttural! Not necessarily better but different. Can also see and hear the power drop-off at end of straights.

"loss of pressure" means what ? oil pressure ? compression loss ? turbo ? what does the generic word 'pressure' imply ? Either be clear and specific or don't tell the reason at all.

Lawrence Barretto: "It was a loss of pneumatic pressure for Kimi Antonelli earlier, which forced him to stop out on track earlier. The team are switching the PU, which means running is over for Antonelli. George Russell will be in this afternoon, once the car is ready to go."

How the hell do Mercedes manage to get more reliability problems than their customers.

Alpine also had a lot of problems with PU.

In Alpines case it looked like they just didnt have enough cooling. Their rear end was very compact.

I guess Mercedes aren't going to bother doing a full race sim at all this week.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe Merc did a race sim this entire week? Just a bunch of 10 lap stints in the 1.36-1.37 range.

The competition will be hoping those were not full fuel stints...
