The Ferrari crew was already on its way, but is stuck in Qatar. A new crew has been assembled.

When you believe Thomas Mahrer from Planet `F1 it is indeed not true. I never believe him. He is often wrong.

I believe what Marca wrote.

Aus GP boss. Seems like the issues have been mostly resolved.
“I’m guessing there’d be close to 1,000 people that would have already booked their flights and would be landing somewhere between sort of today, tomorrow, and Wednesday.

“So they had to all be changed.

“But they’ve been able to sort it out, is the important part. All the freight is here and ready to go,” he said.

“And so we’re in a space where we’re really confident there’ll be no impact.”

The tyre pressures are strange. You'd expect the reduction in weight and downforce and the inclusion of a 5th SLM zone to warrant a reduction in pressures. How have they increased from last year. #-o

The new thinner tyres need more pressure?

Theres been reports on the subreddits that AM may not even make it past the first few laps of the race due to the reliability concerns and AM may even intentionally retire the car after the formation lap.... we shall see how much that ends up to be.

An important aspect is that the following race is China and only one week later, so spare parts and replacements might be a difficult matter.
Also, they need to look after their power train pools as well.
Anyways, they will want to balance this with their incredible need for more laps under their belt.

Wait...there we saw some heavy sandbags lying around in Bahrain. Do you want to tell us they were Aston's?
Might make sense that they used the old ones with the Merc logo on them...that got me puzzled if they are the ones from Merc or the ones that Toto is still mad about Christian stealing those. But clumsy Aston makes much more sense...Toto would not have left them just on the floor where everyone can see...

Flight disruption at Dubai and Doha airports may be problematic for some team this weekend. Hopefully no equipment are stuck at the airport due to flight cancellation.

I have only just noticed that the "lateral energy" graphic is depicted on the tyre side-walls. Very nuanced and I admit I hadn't thought about where and how the energy flows from mid-tyre to side wall in cornering.
