"Great" is a very strong word. He performed as expected, nothing more, nothing less.
What doesn't help Leclerc's reputation are these mistakes that often prevent him from achieving a better result, coupled with the radio messages complaining about his teammate over trivial matters. Today, he was heavily criticized in the race discussions on my F1 group. Just look at the replies to the tweet with the gif to get an idea of that.
Anyway, I hope Ferrari at least gets a second row in qualifying, to give Lewis and Charles a good chance in the race on Sunday.
