AutoRacer has just said that Ferrari are ~30 HP down on Mercedes, which would put them in the 4% ADUO range.
Also said the new engine wouldn't come until July.
Seems like Tondi and Serra totally cooked on the chassis side then... such a shame Zimmerman totally screwed up on the engine.
That would mean that the upgrade would arrive before round 9 (Silverstone) or round 10 (Spa, more likely I think).
Also I don’t necessarily think they’ve done a terrible job. I suspect that they were likely in ADUO 1 territory, then chose to sandbag their way to ADUO 2, given that they were the clear number 2 regardless.
Either way the engine is at least very reliable and driveable, and also clearly VERY good at race starts and appears to suffer from less turbo lag in general, which helps energy management. It’s not great a great PU, but I think it would be a stretch to call it a total screw up.
