ADOU regulations don’t apply to the electrical side of the PU.V10FURY wrote: ↑25 Apr 2026, 20:57These new regulations of 350kw super clipping will really hurt Honda if they haven’t solved that issue by Miami. Hopefully the chassis is better and the vibration issue will be fixed to at least the remotes 80%. Then Honda can run the engine at the full rpm limit/boost and see if they are down 80hp or less than 50hp. I still think they will be a long way off the midfield battle if they are so weak on power and recovery. Miami being a sprint weekend is also not ideal, but at least they extended the free practice 1 to 90 minutes of running. After September the team should start a decent march to catch up to the midfield if Honda can get the ADOU upgrades, and fix the battery / recovery issues. If not this team will need to write off this year and possibly next year as well.
The word “fix” implies something is broken. We can address anything related to reliability at any time with the proper consent.
I think you’re putting the cart before the horse—we don’t yet know if all those issues are related to reducing vibrations.
We need to see them run vibration-free to determine their performance before we start figuring out what their shortcomings are.
