they (alonso) definitely look like theyve made some improvements somewhere. but he always looks pretty good in canada. hopefully it carries on to the race, and other races.

One thing is sure that he think he can push. So at least first issues gone and performance is the matter now

Yes, Seems the chassis is good in slow corners, the engine is holding back. The sprint should shed more light on the race pace and order.

maybe the work they done have in japan in synchronizations of gearbox and pu is working.you need good traction to be fast out of slow corners and for that you need good engine mapping.you cant separate the car from the engine.which show Newey was wrong at start to lumb all problems on honda.

As you make a comparison in telemetry with Redbull, Mercedes, is clear that they gearbox gearing ratio just not right,to long.

It was a wrong call to start the inhouse gearbox with the new engine, they should have started their own gearbox in 2025, this would have ironed out any issues ...
Right now it has become a year long testing for the engine and gearbox..

the pu in 2025 is different from pu in 2026,so building a pu in 2025 would have meant that they only used it for one year then ditch it and start all over again for new set of regulation .thats is not a sound financial decision

Japaneese don't like to talk like that about themselves.

Alonso is just trying to notify people that he and his car might not be fast but his driving is better than most.
Exactly.

And Alonso has nothing to prove. He can say whatever he wants as long as he is, race after race, proving the world class driver that he is.

I can't stand those comments from people who doesn't respect that.
My point is Ispano is probably Japanese.
He probably is, yes. I couldn't care less, though. That comment is just plain wrong.

Is it possible that ADUO is already approved for Aston Martin Honda since for the first time they looked semi decent, and this is what this spec of engine can actually do, holding back a little until now?

Considering they had the slowest top speeds of all in qualy, and no aero upgrades, I think it proves that Newey has made a pretty decent base aero/suspension package now that the vibration issue is solved. The B-spec package at spa or the race after together with ADUO-upgraded engine could be a huge step.

This bad dynamic is going on with drivers, team managers and any other F1 related position

Is totally disrespectful to treat in this way the same people who are leaving their skin on the tracks all over the world (or in the factories) to bring us our supposedly beloved show that is F1.

The pile on to the guy who was critical of Alonso's comments is pretty shocking. Cult like behaviour occurring here..
Lastly is Vasseur, Alonso, Hulkenberg, Toto, ...

Nobody is safe in these social networks times, full of gratuitous hate.

you built a gearbox for a specific engine with its own torque demand ,you cant take a gearbox from v8 era and put it on those v6 pu of late it will simply breakapart.today gearbox has to work with larger kers unit so its different from last year gearbox.
