Good race. It was like two different cars. Just not a Leclerc track I guess.

Lewis has a bad babit of giving away time during VSC and SCs. Lucky to catch back Verstappen with an amazing pass.
So true. He lost a bunch in the first Vsc and then some in the second vsc as well. Luckily he had the pace in that second stint. Can someone explain why Verstappen was able to pass him earlier?

Excellent weekend for Hamilton. I'd say it was the best he's had at Ferrari so far.

Meanwhile, Charles was nowhere the whole weekend. The P4 was entirely circumstantial, that he didn't deserve. We'll see if he can redeem himself after two poor races in Monaco, which may be the best chance Ferrari will have this season to achieve a good result without depending on retirements.

If all it took was to stop using the simulator…

I guess we’ll see in the races to come.

Lewis never left. He just needed to change his approach. A Lewis from old and a lot of haters of Lewis own him an apology. At 41 years of age he is still as good as the best drivers on the grid. I really enjoyed his battle.

Hamilton needs to bring this level to Monaco which is a track that he struggles at. It's hard to say right now because he's always quick in Canada.

As for Leclerc, the less said the better. He wouldn't have scored points if other cars were as good as the Ferrari.

Good call by Lewis today. I don't remember the lap, but Ferrari strategists asked Lewis to box-opposite Max before the 1st VSC. Lewis even with Max having not pitted, rightly declined the request because 2 other cars had just entered the pit lane just ahead.

Great race that was Lewis! He was on it whole weekend best he could do even if he nailed qualifying Merc are too far ahead. Great battle that with Max great to see. Sim binned now Lewis won’t touch it he’s so good when he has good feel in the car and on the brakes and confident. Was a shame they cut the cool down room chat just as Lewis said he would love grippier tyres obvious reason why they did can’t have them talking bad about the tyres live on air.

Yeah good call. Shows his immense experience. Big contrast with Piastri for example, moaning about boxing but getting overruled by his team. If you are so sure you want or do not want something, stick to it!

Agreed; I'd be impressed if he's just 1 step behind Leclec.
By the way, Monaco is Ferrari's best, may be even only chance to win a race; lower CG, high traction, less power sensitivity...

The black arts called 'tyre temperature'. Low track temp coupled with slipperiness from overnight rain - tyres become a lottery. Redbull was able to keep S within temp range, Ferrari was able to keep M within temp range. No real corners at speed, to build some carcass temps. Even the Mercs were struggling with braking due to lack of tyre temps.

Ham should do better this time around, he qualified p4 last year with a car he struggled to drive, I expect him to be challenging for the podium spots in quali with leclerc in a couple weeks, still think leclerc gets pole though

. Nobody's talking about Hamilton's power loss at the start of the Grand Prix. He lost a second in sector 1 before shouting over the radio that he had a power problem. I don't know what the Ferrari engineers did, but strangely enough, the power came back afterwards.
