It's more than clear now that Toto is screwing George.

Think Toto feels good about his decision to promote Antonelli?

I’m still kind of in disbelief as to his speed.

Not sure but there's clearly an issue in his garage. 3 out of 5 races with an issue isn't normal. They should probably swap the mechanics around at this point.

Haven’t the issues all been battery or software-related? If so, that does not seem to point to a trackside installation or assembly problem, IMO.

The problem is also setup related. Even on Saturday quali, he kept searching for the right prep for a lap. Which has been the case since China. That points to garage being unable understand or fix the problems. Imagine how stupid Kimi would look if his side of the garage would be that clueless. Despite having an experienced driver, they are struggling or unless like I suspect, it's planned.

 if you don't want your drivers to fight...just turn off the engine. I think they had like a cup with 2 names and they drew George's name. It's not intentional. No manufacturer would risk such a scandal on that

As if something like that happened for the first time at this team under Toto. Watch Abu Dhabi 2014, Sakhir 2020 or Monaco 2021. They know how to screw their driver up having bigger picture and aims in mind.

You take two poles, sprint win, leave from the race lead with a scooter and your result is -23 pts to the championship lead from that weekend. This is motorsport.

Kimi was honestly super impressive this weekend. Couldn't put it together for quali but I think it's fair to say he was the faster driver in both the sprint and the race. I am wondering what George might be thinking after this weekend. It's not going to be a walk in the park as some might have thought after last year.

This reminds me of last season and Piastri. Came from nowhere and then came the pressures. We haven't seen Europe yet.

It reminds me of Verstappen and Riciardo, where Riciardo just had a bit more pace in qualy due to experience, but in the race Verstappen was a lot faster.

The difference is this formula where its just extremely difficult to drive away after overtaking. Im pretty sure Antonelli would drive away otherwise.
