As a photographer myself this picture is not really a good example as it is taken from below and using a wide angle lens so it is making the gap and the rear of the car wider and more prominent. The best would be a side pic of the car, still in front of the garage from the data/screens Pit Wall.

But good try.

Agreed, tried to find some shots directly from the side.
Eyeballing the rear floor edge height from the pavement in front of the rear tire, though, and comparing to the 18 inch rim (not with tire, 45.7cm), looks like around maybe 10-12cm at the back there? But obviously for rake you also need the front bib height, which might also be high in static conditions.

To me the rake seems minimal, but the ride-height rather high. (Or I just didn't get used to these new cars yet)

Very elegant upgrades.

The theme at the front is efficiency. To make more from less. You can see how some vanes, flaps and buldges were replaced by simpler surfaces, better positioned or outright deleted.

Honda is Bad yes but there is an illusion everyone is ignoring a few things


SPA - > Low(medium) Drag wing initially anyways 30kmph top speed deficit (ignoring the ridiculous super clipping)
Monza - > Barndoors+those sticking uppbits that don't go down in straight mode(same wing as Hungary/Dutch 2026 by the way) -> 20kmph deficit

With the promised 30hp this would have been a 10kmph deficit. Considering other teams removed their sticky bits and brought medium downforce wings for Monza, i wouldn't point fingers at Honda just yet. The race will show this issue. But there is no denying Honda improved, but it's simply not enough.

I wish it was more from Honda but I'm satisfied with what they brought. It's been a taxing year with the way the year started. I'm sure they've had a big chunk of R&D working on non performance stuff. Let's see if they can bring a bring a bigger chunk next year and bring the car the capability of winning.
