Hybrid is the worst of both worlds.

The "solid state 1000km battery" BS from Toyota for an example has been talked about for what, 5 or 6 years now?

This whole idea that they're going to join the market at the right time is rubbish. The right time was to have killer products at least 2 years ago.

Just because car go vroom vroom dinosaurs are denying EV works doesn't mean they're correct. Those same people were saying I'll get an EV when they do 500 miles, and now that they do, they have changed it to 1000 miles, despite the fact that they only drive that far over the course of 2 months.

Honda have missed the boat massively by betting on Hydrogen, and so have Toyota, BMW and to an extend Audi.

There's massive problems ahead for Europe and Japan because Korea and China have stolen a massive match on them.
if you take away the gorvernment subsidies they is no market for electric car in the west .not in a meanful way.vw is collapsing because of their bet on electic cars is no working

As usual, let’s not drift into politics and geopolitics, please. Keep it on the cars.

I'll have one more say because it's not balanced to finish as it was, then I'll shut up.

Volkswagen is failing because it produced poor quality cars with terrible infotainment systems, overpriced against competitors and with weaker charging and range performance than rivals.

But keep blaming the market for Volkswagen producing a terrible product.

Anyway, said my piece, back to the thread.

My two pennies on Honda is that they'll be gone before the change to V8/V10 and will have taken Audi with them.

F1 is in a really, really weak spot right now.

its ironic because f1 is being forced to to field a pu it does not want because of politics. Green these green that, even the fuel f1 use has no relevant in the real world and is prohibitively expensive. If f1 listened to their customers we will have a v10.when merc replaced their v8 for a small four cylinder engine their customers stopped buying their amg cars, so fans should stop watching these crap then f1 will change for the better.

Otherwise their next move to add particle filter to the exhaust.
