Hamilton was going to finish P6 in any case, he was very slow today. Same for Zandvoort where he lost 3 points at best.
He was the fastest car on track at one point. his average pace to Max on the mediums was a tenth slower and thats on 25 lap older tires, yet max got a podium. Lewis lost out because of the turn 1 incident and them for some odd reason refusing to pit him under the vsc
Only because of overtake mode which provided a net 0.5s gain on lap time. Without it, he was extremely slow.
Also, only an amateur driver put himself on the outside of turn 2 in Monza in that situation. Same move that costed him the race with Max in 2021. You think that Leclerc, IN MONZA, is going to leave the space after a divebomb in turn 1? This is borderline experimental, not going to lie.
