In fact, is it even different?

Exactly. They'd have to redo scrutineering if they changed it. People are too quick to judge. The floor could've changed completely with larger slots feeding the diffuser we can see. Remember that Brawn have been working on the double diffuser much longer than everyone else and there is only so far you can go. Inevitably, the more developed it becomes the less room there is for radical change.djones wrote:Why would you even bother with the old one this late in the game. I mean FP is tomorrow.

I agree with Bonjon here, I don't think theyve got enough time to waste the whole first session with diffuser A, and the fit and re-scruitineer diffuser B for Sess 2. What we see, is what they're running. Now maybe there is stuff hidden within that we can't see, or maybe it's true that Merc have been sandbagging and RB has been indulging in some skillful physcological warfare regrding the new stuff....bonjon1979 wrote:Exactly. EDIT: Also, there is so little time to get used to the tyres etc in the bahrain heat, there is no way they're going to waste time doing back to back tests. Tomorrow they have to set the car up so it works on both low and high fuel. There isn't time to fart around with diffuser comparisons.
