Rosberg is that good ,not the car yet.Brawn officially admitted that their weight distribution is wrong .Schumacher is at a disadvantage of 7kg with weight distribution equalling 0.5% with empty tank.So assuming they are of by say 2 percentringo wrote:Things are looking up for Merc. Tire is the same for everybody. Its up to the driver to use them. And since most of the drivers by the end had accumulated a ton of "semi-dry" mileage on the last set when the rain picked near the end, its not at all a surprise that the intermediate gives up to ghost with problem.....ggajic wrote:McLaren is suffering with same problem / Lewis complained at the end of race that his front left tyre is gone, and he was pushing real hard. In some way it is very bad to have just one tyre supplier - seems that Bridgestone is not up to the task this year. It seems that no matter how car is good - if one pushes too hard - tyres can`t last. Schumacher also complained that intermediate tyres are not what used to be. Now add that car is suffering with weight distribution and it is obviously very sad picture of 7x world champion suffering so much.
Doesn't matter what the car is or who the tire supplier is.. if you push too hard they won't last. Could be Bridgestone, Goodyear, Michelin, Hoosier.. abuse is abuse.ggajic wrote:McLaren is suffering with same problem / Lewis complained at the end of race that his front left tyre is gone, and he was pushing real hard. ...no. Could be anything from tire pressure, to camber, to toe settings, to differential, to you name it.mike wrote:so confirmed too much rear bias??
Remember 2005. and 2006. ? Of course, someone might said that Michelin gave unfair advantage to Renault and McLaren in 2005. But point is that this year - tyres seems to wear out much quicker and that everyone is suffering with similar problem. If we had two tyre suppliers - perhaps one would try to make tyre that would last longer.RacingManiac wrote:Tire is the same for everybody. Its up to the driver to use them.
