the rear zone is also different
Oh, you're right. I didn't pay enough attention.JGomezH wrote:the rear zone is also different
Liuzzi is. He was inside 107% of Vettel's Q3 time in MAL.bill shoe wrote:They are not within 107% if a frontrunner puts in a serious Q1 lap.
Really? That's actually somewhat impressive tbh.Timomies wrote:Liuzzi is. He was inside 107% of Vettel's Q3 time in MAL.bill shoe wrote:They are not within 107% if a frontrunner puts in a serious Q1 lap.
I stand happily corrected.Timomies wrote:Liuzzi is. He was inside 107% of Vettel's Q3 time in MAL.bill shoe wrote:They are not within 107% if a frontrunner puts in a serious Q1 lap.

I know this it off topic, but if BE signs HRT in order to try and split up FOTA then he's obviously getting a little senile. HRT aren't in FOTA.bill shoe wrote:Good luck to HRT again!! They have shown they can qualify, but it will be a while before it's easy. They are not within 107% if a frontrunner puts in a serious Q1 lap. I assume all their practice sessions will be 100% focused on qualy setup and speed.
There is scuttlebutt about HRT selling its soul to the devil in exchange for survival money. This means committing to Bernie long-term in exchange for more Bernie money up front. Williams did this a few years ago and the resulting Bernie committment was why Williams had to side with Bernie/FIA over FOTA in the threatened breakaway series. Having said that, Williams is still around and they are more independent than most teams. Perhaps the devil is a reasonable businessman??

"There has been a certain amount of speculation about the Hispania Racing Team doing a financial deal with the Formula One group for a pile of money each year as Bernie Ecclestone continues to try to split up the alliance of the teams. No doubt some will be tempted to jump ship if Colin Kolles does get a $35 million a year deal, which is three and a half times what he is getting now. That would secure the future of the team but it would not make Kolles popular with the other team owners, many of whom consider that politically-speaking HRT is an irrelevance. If others break way and sign up with Ecclestone then this will undermine FOTA."
I remember last year they painted driers names on pretty fast could they be using stickers?Thats white some one said on the HRT fan pageHolm86 wrote:dice782 wrote:Maybe they have a sponsor hence the new paint job.The chequerd pattern is the best part of the new livary.
I just think they didnt have time to do the full paintjob on the new part ....
I agree, the livery design is quite involved due to the way the black fades away in the chequered sections - far, far easier to use stickers than to try and paint it.dice782 wrote:I remember last year they painted driers names on pretty fast could they be using stickers?Thats white some one said on the HRT fan pageHolm86 wrote:dice782 wrote:Maybe they have a sponsor hence the new paint job.The chequerd pattern is the best part of the new livary.
