
It's a bit unsurprising that Wirth seems to have taken a few visual cues from the RB7. The upper, black cascade element is similar to the RB7's, although most of the grid have it as well, although the design of the endfences is still relatively simple, especially compared to teams like Renault, which are putting a lot of effort into that area.

It's a welcome sign that Wirth and his team are beginning to put out more adventurous designs, but after the practice sessions, I have to say, I really don't know where Virgin is going. Their just stagnating, with Lotus pulling away and HRT catching up.
