The Mercedes drivers didn't. Not sure about Sutil and Petrov.raymondu999 wrote:Didn't all the Q3 drivers do two timed runs?
Agree completely. F1 is too artificial already without having bogus tires thrown into the mix. IMHO races should be decided on the course, not in the pits.ringo wrote:I like when the tyres last long. Less interruption in the race. And the drivers push more.
This is coming from someone who prefers the bridgestones by the way. I think the DRS would alleviate any issues we had with the bridgestones and the racing.
They both seemed to have gotten to grips with the tyres.djos wrote:Based on the comments by the BBC F1 team it seems to me that the improvements to the pirreli tires are starting to suit both Mark & Lewis far more than they did at the beginning of the season. Sould make for an awesome rest of the season!
agreed, i think the main problem is still the fact that its slippery off line and drivers can only over take in a straight line and interms of the the tyres i think the problem stands that u can always go in for a change, unlike 2005 if ur tyres go off u have to stay on them and there were some epic action the desperation factor when driving was amazingdonskar wrote:Agree completely. Fair point, let me rephrase that then....Mclaren seem to have found something to improve the speed in LH's car.....HampusA wrote:Really? Then Button obviously missed that memoTraction wrote:Maclaren seem to have found something to improve the speed of their cars...good on them....
This race is Hamilton or Webbers. I think that one of them will for sure choke on the start line, Vettel and Alonso will be up there instantly and maybe can find a way around either of them.
But, if Webber or Vettel leads lap 1 they got the race in the bag.
