there is a misunderstanding here.I think he did not extend his contract yet as he wants to see the bandwagon pick up speed first.He clearly stated he expected a lot more up to now when he signed with Mercedes in 2009 and he stated that first the technicval issues have to be sorted before even considering an extension to his contract -he just does not feel he is going to carry on like this forever..To me his expectation was he has to shake off his rustyness and then he can challenge for a title.It was a major surprise when he realised that he had not signed for a team with the capacity to win the title in year two.I think that is what both Nico and Schumacher realised only this year just how far back MGP is or was.JohnsonsEvilTwin wrote:That is exactly contrary to what Schumacher has said Marcush.
