Massa is getting worse, but last year he had a single DNF and this year he has had 3, so relyability hasnt been on his side. However one of those was an accedent in India with a rage enduced hitting of a kurb caused by poor judgement on Massas part with a Hamilton overtake.
I can see Massa being the first driver to be replaced next year in F1, De La Rosa will probably do more races if i am to be honest.
Like he was a solid number two to Renault(Petrov)! Oh, come on!richard_leeds wrote:Tozza Mazza wrote:By who though? Bianchi? Kubica?
Ferrari have left it too late, which is a shame, because watching Massa get worse and worse is just painful, and is costing them. With a decent back up driver to Alonso in 2010, taking points off of rivals, nando would be the youngest ever triple world champ.
Heidfeld? He'd be a solid reliable number 2.
Good point about Alonso in 2010. However if Massa had been too good he'd have taken points off Alonso
I think this is a bit unfair - Heidfeld actually outscored Petrov in their time together.Donuts wrote:Like he was a solid number two to Renault(Petrov)! Oh, come on!

I am exaggerating a bit(don't want to see Heidfeld back). When Petrov really showed some strong pace in the begining of the season, the team thought he would step up to lead them... it never happened.raymondu999 wrote:Equalling a rookie does not mean number 2 to a rookie. Ross Brawn wrote:Mercedes boss Ross Brawn has not ruled out a new deal for Michael Schumacher in 2013. "It all depends on 2012," said Brawn. "Midway through next season we'll take a collective decision. I'm very calm. We have plans at the moment and I really don't believe he's thinking of going elsewhere."

Let's be honest, who wants to see Heidfeld back in F1? He's like De la Rosa, a good chap, a descent driver, but nothing more than that.Donuts wrote:I am exaggerating a bit(don't want to see Heidfeld back). That would be the best move for him. Driving in the DTM he could drive to the end of his career, do some TD/3rd driver stuff for Merc, and race in some endurance races.Gaara wrote:Mr. Nick is going back to Mercedes![]()
