JB and SV both had their rain-light on during the race. What does this indicate? A wet engine map?
If so, can they not change engine maps during the race?

People who are complaining about a boring race with no tension fall for Bernie's line that "we" hate in a sense.
It was a beautiful race due to a beautiful track.

Remarkably Vettel compared himself to Senna in 1991 – he was 4 years at that stage. This man lives Formula 1! (I'm no fanboy ...)

I personally delivered the mars rover last night. You were not there.

I believe redbull. The FIA will too. You think Vettel, being the nosy guy that he is wont take a look for himself?

You saw how whiny he got when the tyre failed in abu dahbi, you think he wont get vile and demand Rocky open up that gearbox to give him a look see?
For Sure!!

And Ferrari last year said that Felipe made a mistake on traction out of the hairpin in Hockenheim.

What is your take on the situation...real or manufactured?
I must preface my answer with the fact that I do support Vettel and there is some bias in me. However, I don't think I'm alone in saying that I honestly think it was manufactured.

Im saying there is no proof so why go off on a conspiracy theory?

Not everything is cloak and dagger.

A gearbox issue is not such a big deal, they happen, and until there is evidence of wrong doing, there is little point on making stuff up.
Yes but we should remember that Seb's would probably be a new gearbox - his retirement in Abu Dhabi would have meant they could fit a new gearbox on for this race.

Vettel did beat Webber last year...

If it was indeed a conspiracy - Vettel would probably know, and he understood that this was his "Mark is faster than you" moment. And he confirmed that he understood the message.

No.
Vettel will not complain because -as you told earlier- he always gets 90% of the team's interest. He is world champion. No reason to go contrary to this team.

Mark beat the cogs out of Vettel. .
he sure did Ringo...he suuuure did.....
Kapow!! rocked vettel's socks every brazil race.

Any way, we saw today that when Redbull put their support behind mark; in terms of pitstop quality and radio feedback, he's just as fast as vettel, and he can really make the redbull run like it's supposed to.
It's only when the team give vettel 90% of the attention does Mark underperform in his RB7.
This treatment could explain the discrepancy between both cars this season. Vettel's car always seems to have that little extra this season.
As soon as vettel is out of the way, Webber performs.
Wrong.. but your humour is still great...

Seb was pulling away at 0.5-1 second a lap for the first 3 or 4 laps...

I don't see Vettel getting upset at all...in the post race interview he mentioned it would be over the top to get upset at this stage of the season but no doubt he will look for answers in order to understand what happened and what caused the failure. He'll want to do that in order to know if there is anything at all he can do in his capacity to try and prevent it happening again....

I'm sorry but how is one not entitled to say that was boring. Simply put, the best car by a mile took off at the start and they were never troubled by others (as if it had never happened before lol). Sure, there was some action here and there but that's it really. Not exciting enough.

Dude, why the short term memory?

If you watched last years race you would see the real conspiracy. Webber was told to hold back. He was told to maintain the gap!!

You know why becuase of a "overheating problem". That's even more suspicious than a gearbox problem.

Mark was knocking Vettel out the frame before they reigned him in.

Think twice before you opine. Remeber last year and compare it to this year.
Webbers owns Vettel in Brazil, end off. 8)

 it was an issue that they've had a few times that year. Mark wasn't braking hard enough - and that was hurting the oil use.

Again, there is no proof of anything, unless you have any proof, you are literally making stuff up and hoping it sticks.

That is not how logic operates, but don't let that stop you from making assumptions based on nothing but rather uncoded sounding radio messages.

If it was faked, why keep addressing him on the radio over and over. 2nd would have been a good enough reason, yet as the race went on he kept getting told to shortshift more and more gears.

Everything points to a transmission problem at this point, and only random assumptions based on (?) are heard here.

We are not discussing if Webber can beat Vettel, but if the gearbox problem was fake. Ferrari should ask for an investigation, since Alonso lost 3rd place in championship. And i cannot understand why Ferrari is always acting immoral when they apply team orders and in the case of RedBull, it's just a conspiracy theory..

Actually this is exactly how logic operates.
Someone is collecting "material" leading to a possible scenario and then they find out whether it's true or not through investigation.

I'm not saying that the gearbox problem was manufactured. However I do think that Vettel should have been able to decide (with the information he got from the team) if he wanted to use caution or just go for it. He had nothing to lose; only Webber did. At any rate Congrat's to Red Bull for a dominating season, Vettel for romping all over the field and Webber for taking that car and crushing the 5th fastest car by one point, for third place in the WDC
