JB and SV both had their rain-light on during the race. What does this indicate? A wet engine map?
If so, can they not change engine maps during the race?
I personally delivered the mars rover last night. You were not there.DRCorsa wrote:And i can tell you that last night i was drinking a vodka on Mars. You will not believe me until i prove it.ringo wrote:Redbull said there was no oil left in vettel's gearbox. That should remove any doubts.
And Ferrari last year said that Felipe made a mistake on traction out of the hairpin in Hockenheim.ringo wrote:Redbull said there was no oil left in vettel's gearbox. That should remove any doubts.

I must preface my answer with the fact that I do support Vettel and there is some bias in me. However, I don't think I'm alone in saying that I honestly think it was manufactured.Traction wrote:What is your take on the situation...real or manufactured?raymondu999 wrote:Ringo - the issue at hand is not whether or not Seb should have let Mark past. Once the lap times were slower then of course he should have let Webber past. Plain and simple. But the issue at hand is whether or not the gearbox issue was real - or was it manufactured
Yes but we should remember that Seb's would probably be a new gearbox - his retirement in Abu Dhabi would have meant they could fit a new gearbox on for this race.Giblet wrote:Im saying there is no proof so why go off on a conspiracy theory?raymondu999 wrote:@Giblet - we're not saying it was wrong, we're saying it was fake. Team orders remember are now legal.
Not everything is cloak and dagger.
A gearbox issue is not such a big deal, they happen, and until there is evidence of wrong doing, there is little point on making stuff up.
Vettel did beat Webber last year...ringo wrote:Kapow!! rocked vettel's socks every brazil race.
If it was indeed a conspiracy - Vettel would probably know, and he understood that this was his "Mark is faster than you" moment. And he confirmed that he understood the message.ringo wrote:You saw how whiny he got when the tyre failed in abu dahbi, you think he wont get vile and demand Rocky open up that gearbox to give him a look see?
No.ringo wrote:I personally delivered the mars rover last night. You were not there.DRCorsa wrote:And i can tell you that last night i was drinking a vodka on Mars. I believe redbull. The FIA will too. You think Vettel, being the nosy guy that he is wont take a look for himself?

Seb was pulling away at 0.5-1 second a lap for the first 3 or 4 laps...ringo wrote:Any way, we saw today that when Redbull put their support behind mark; in terms of pitstop quality and radio feedback, he's just as fast as vettel, and he can really make the redbull run like it's supposed to.
Dude, why the short term memory?raymondu999 wrote:

If you watched last years race you would see the real conspiracy. Webber was told to hold back. He was told to maintain the gap!!
You know why becuase of a "overheating problem". That's even more suspicious than a gearbox problem.
Mark was knocking Vettel out the frame before they reigned him in.
Think twice before you opine. Remeber last year and compare it to this year.
Webbers owns Vettel in Brazil, end off.
Actually this is exactly how logic operates.Giblet wrote:Again, there is no proof of anything, unless you have any proof, you are literally making stuff up and hoping it sticks.
That is not how logic operates,
