That might be because they didn't bring them last week, and no one has used them today. Early on in the Autosport Summarry it is stated Red Branded Supersofts are at the teams disposal for the first time today, so we just don't know!Tumbarello wrote:I doubt the Pirelli's have changed to that degree. No one has spoken about such dramatic improvements in grip from the tyres. Surely that would have been huge news by now, no?Mr Alcatraz wrote:Plus they brought the super softs that they didn't have last week, although no one has used them yet I thinkshelly wrote:You have to factor tires in that. This years pirellis could be 1,2 or even 3 seconds quicker than last year - we have no clue about that and this offsets all times comparison
I think everyone ran more or less LIGHT. Light as in below Half a Race fuel. Even if the car has 6-8 laps of fuel still the time WAS VERY good. Very low track temperature, first day of running on Medium Compound Tyres. This is only the 5th day of the car. They will work on it & improve the setup & probably bring small upgrades to refine the package.Mr Alcatraz wrote:Yea I saw your source (yes planet F1 is a little dodgy to be kind)Mr.S wrote:Alcatraz Raymond I just quoted PlanetF1 which is a pretty dumb site anyway. FI looks good with that time unless he was really light because that was mediums.
I think I could throw the airflow and it wouldnt be illegal XDsejamesxy wrote:do anyone think you can throw the airflow get from the current flow and send it to the diffuser is illegal.I have just the thing if its not illegal.I will give to HRT .I love HRT but they need to get better and the effect is its same performance as EDB but less 40% where as EDB is 60%. I want to be Aerodynamics

I also don't understand what he means .. and to be honest I don't think this has anything to do with the Barcelona Pre-Season Test .dieguezzz wrote:I think I could throw the airflow and it wouldnt be illegal XDsejamesxy wrote:do anyone think you can throw the airflow get from the current flow and send it to the diffuser is illegal.I have just the thing if its not illegal.I will give to HRT .I love HRT but they need to get better and the effect is its same performance as EDB but less 40% where as EDB is 60%. Jokes aside... I dont know what are you talking about can you explain better? XD
Good point now were starting to get into heavier loads as some times have gone way up!Mr.S wrote:I think everyone ran more or less LIGHT. Light as in below Half a Race fuel. For a mid-field team like Force India which came 2nd last year this time is VERY good.
Times go Up ?Mr Alcatraz wrote: Good point now were starting to get into heavier loads as some times have gone way up!
Hamiton was in the 129's consistantly when I posted that on a longish run! ok?blokkie wrote:Times go Up ?Mr Alcatraz wrote: Good point now were starting to get into heavier loads as some times have gone way up!
I see at 15h 10m vettel ran a 1:23.463 ... I don't see any huge increase in lap times.
Even ForceIndia is running 1:25.311 , previous laps where all in the 1:25'ish
Ray that was a two flying lap stint so as much as I fear Red Bull are toying with the rest of the field. THAT is not a good example of it.raymondu999 wrote:Wow... Vettel doing a 1:23 on silver-branded tyres.
