How many more heads can roll? Tombazis is a pretty highly regarded engineer with a reasonable track record of success. If I were at another team I'd recruit him as a Chief Aerodynamacist at the very least because that's what his background is in. To my mind, and it goes back to what I might have said before, the organisational structure of that team makes no sense to me. If Tombazis's head is to roll for the car then why wasn't he made Technical Director, and what have Pat Fry and the much vaunted Rory Byrne been doing? Who created the philosophy behind that car, or was it just plasticined together from the thoughts of three people?
Honestly, who thought that front pull-rod suspension would give any benefit? It will subtly alter the mechanics of a known and solid solution, probably with profound effects on the tyres, for little to no benefit.
Fighting for mid field...not in midfield but FIGHTING for mid field.
Embarrassment
Given the times they did on a comparable race run with Lotus then I'd say that is pretty accurate.
Many will be fired if the first races don't produce descent results
Most probably, but I think the problems run deeper than just the people.
