Hello guys!

Your RB7 was amazing and i'm really looking forward to watching the progress with the Audi. I wondered if you know of any on-line resource where i can read up and learn some cardboard modelling techniques?
Cheers and keep up the good work.
Dan
Sorry Daniel. I've no idea. All my skills I've learnt by doing (by myself). I'm also at a german cardboard-modelling forum, but I really don't know if there is something what can helps you:

In small pieces, the progress of the R18 is coming. The reason is, that I try to improve the quality I've reached with the RB7. Therefore it takes time to build a pedal, a brake master cylinder (not to mention a fire extinguisher).
As you can see, the pedals and the fire extinguisher are mounted.
The fire extinguisher is finished with a clear lacquer. Very good felicitous are the round ends of the body. The extinguisher itself is fitted to the monocoque by two metal stripes. I couldn't fint pictures of the R18s extinguisher, so I orientated at the R15.
I think now it's time that you can call me freak, nerd or whatever comes in your mind.
The fire extinguisher is gone and about three hours of work are covered by a paper sheet. But with my current knowledge, I can't take the responsibility for leaving away the extinguisher.
At the end a picture of the backside of the pedals - no fear, they can be seen through the big hole at the front of the monocoque with removed front bodywork. The two master cylinders are mounted, but the front one isn't connected yet. Brake bias adjust system is electrical I think, so I've to detect a place for an electric motor.
That's it for the mo, thanks for watching
Cheers,
Paul
